A great explorer
Laurence is our great explorer. Ever since she was little, her button’s been stuck on adventure. She probably owes that to her parents, who gave her the travel bug by taking her along with them from one country to the next.
And yes, she had the chance to travel very young with her family and later on with friends. What she loves most about travelling is the thrill of setting off toward the unknown and meeting new people. What we love most about her is her easy going nature and her approachable personality. Laurence is always a breath of fresh air, as fresh as the wind off the islands!

Strong, resilient, warm
Laurence has been through all kinds of challenges before getting to where she is today. What we can tell you is that those trials allowed her to become the strong, resilient woman she is.
Our great explorer loves taking care of the people around her and letting life guide her. It’s her fondness for human connection that pushed her toward nursing! Just goes to show that sometimes all it takes is a presence to change someone’s day (why not their life). Or all it takes is one Laurence to turn a patient’s day around for the better.
Juggling nursing, construction and vacation
As if she hadn’t finished surprising us, she also works part-time in construction at her brother’s company. Got a few renos to do? We’ve found your person!! Laurence is always up for a bit of manual work. She’s not the type to be scared of taking on new challenges. Just as flexible from one trade to another, she decided to join the wonderful Nomade family because, in her eyes, there’s nothing as precious as being able to decide when and where she’ll set off on an adventure as a licensed practical nurse. A happy medium between vacation, renos and care.
Today, Laurence can put a big X on her bucket list, enjoying the Îles de la Madeleine (at last). And we can put a big X on ours! Yes, we’re as lucky as a Lotto 6/49 win to have someone as versatile as Laurence in the Family.
