Faces of Nomade - Élisabeth

Meet Élisabeth, a clinical nurse who’s been with us for 2 years now. She embodies everything we want to pass along through Agence Nomade: adventure, an unconventional lifestyle, and living life to the beat of your own passions.

Because a working person’s life doesn’t have to be complicated and dull. If you thought being a nurse limited your adventures, well then, you don’t work for Agence Nomade! Élisabeth is really the proof that you can live a thrilling life, even while working in healthcare.

She just launched her blog “La Cigogne en Sandales,” where she shares her daily life as a nurse on the road, along with her travels and experiences.

Why “La Cigogne” (The Stork)? Because she’s developed an immeasurable love for working in the delivery room, it’s really that unique blend of adrenaline and gentleness that won her over.

And why “en sandales” (in sandals)? Simply because she’s a tireless traveller. Her loved ones often ask her: “So, uh, do you ever actually work? We don’t get your lifestyle.” She explores the world, from Banff to Martinique, but her ultimate crush, her go-to spot, is Utila in Honduras. (She didn’t want us to name the town for fear it would get too popular haha.) Sorry, Éli!! We couldn’t keep this to ourselves! We’re going to have to go check it out for ourselves too. She fell so in love with the country that she bought a piece of land there.

Her dream? Spending three months a year on that little slice of paradise. That’s the magic of working with an agency: she takes a few contracts here and there and spends the rest of her time working in a restaurant, riding around on her motorcycle and scuba diving. The dream!!!! No need to explain any further why working with an agency is perfect for her.
