The Agence Nomade is 3 years old !!!

The Agence Nomade is celebrating its 3rd birthday đ„ł.
I can tell you that supporting you on your adventures is quite an adventure in itself! Itâs with the same fire as day one that I get up in the morning to take on the day with you.
My growth in the world of entrepreneurship
Being a nurse by training with zero knowledge of the business world, you could say this world of entrepreneurship is one hell of a ride. Itâs an adventure that challenges me enormously on a personal level. Just goes to show that itâs not only the Agence Nomade thatâs been growing since 2019!
Iâm someone who hates confrontation, so much so that I run from it whenever I can. Unfortunately (or should I say fortunately), in business, problems come to you and you canât avoid them, you have to stand tall and handle it all in whatever way you believe is most appropriate in the moment.
The knives fly at full speed and from every height. Itâs extremely demanding psychologically to stay the course, mental toughness, right? Nothingâs ever perfect, lovely (and not-so-lovely) surprises, each one as astonishing as the last, show up every single day, but thatâs part of the game.
What I love by farâŠ
What I find most rewarding in this adventure, is the contact I have with you, the Nomads. Whether itâs to catch up, talk through an issue on an assignment or your next discoveries out in the region, I love taking the time to chat with you. Some of you become my friends before weâve even met in person haha!
Why nursing?
I chose the nursing profession because I wanted a job that would let me do all sorts of things without ever falling into a routine. Our profession is full of opportunities. There are lots of departments and different specialties, workplaces, or regions - provinces - countries where we can practise our trade. Just goes to show that the only limit is the one you set for yourselfâŠ
Why start my agency?
I was having so much fun out in remote regions that I decided to start my own placement agency: the Agence Nomade. I wanted to take care of you from A to Z during your stays and pass on my vision of having fun in remote regions to my nurse friends who also had a taste for adventure and freedom, to flourish and find themselves.
Honestly, I had in mind starting a business so that I could, ultimately, live a vacation life with a piña colada in hand on a deserted island under the midday sun. Who knows, maybe even run the whole thing on a tiny hour of work a day, just enough to sort out the paperwork and switch to âchillingâ mode fast.
I have to tell you I have NEVER been that wrong in my entire life.
Which is a very good thing, since âchillingâ is no longer part of my motivations, itâs quite the opposite⊠and I have several witnesses to back me up.
Time flies since 2019. It was friends of friends who started writing to me to join the Nomad Family, then acquaintances of friends, acquaintances of acquaintances and so on.
The importance of delegating
I far exceeded what I could do on my own this past year. So I surrounded myself with people I trust and care a lot about.
I could never thank my sweetheart, Ămilie, enough. Without you, the Agence Nomade wouldnât be where it is today. You make me think and open my mind like no one else. Life at the office is so much more enjoyable with you. I love you.
Thank you to Kassandra, who has been part of the family for a few months now. Your sense of initiative is hugely appreciated and helps set in motion our thousand crazy ideas that we were struggling to carry out lately.
Thank you to Jennifer, who has just begun the adventure with us. Your rigour and your eye for detail already bring so much to the Family.
Three wonderful years and the adventure is only just beginning!đ§Ą
